Like many Kentuckians, I learned how to shoot a gun from my dad. I also got a little more practice at fish and wildlife camp. 

Though primarily a vocalist, I have short fingernails on my left hand because I teach ukulele at a public high school. I also play a little guitar when time allows.

One summer in college, I worked at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. After backpacking 35 miles in two days, I was just a little bit sore.

I’m not athletic at all, but my NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At 5’11”, I’m the same height as the average American man. I still do a double-take when I meet a woman taller than me!
